This first set of Bios is written by me (Jeffrey Chappell) and when I get personal bios in I will change them over.

Producer/Artistic Director

After mom and dad said I couldn't trick or treat anymore over 10 years ago, I decided not to let Halloween go to waste. I started by playing dead outside my front door with a longtime friend who's parents had the same plan. Halloween is a chance to just have some fun and get out the fun for design that I have. I have worked in Theatre all over the world now, and there is nothing like Halloween back home, every time I get the chance to open the Halloween cases it gives me a chance to put together something new and exciting every year.

Ian Chappell

Construction/Fabrication/Health & Safety

One of the best 2nd in charge I could ask for on Halloween and any show that we have ever worked together on. Ian is able to take any design that I am able to dream up and make it come to life. He also has the ability to keep me grounded. With an understanding of theatre and a safety conscious mind that helps keep the attraction running smoothly every year, He is an invaluable asset to the production.

Properties/Original Cast

Matt and I started this project 10 years ago now, and I think we both still wonder how crazy we both must be. Matt has a mind that can make almost anything scary. Matt also has the crazy ability of reading my mind and finishing my sentences (that has to be the 18 years of knowing each other). Matt keeps the same lack of love for sleep as any good theatre technician, which makes him a great person for trying to keep the setup to one day... hey who needs to sleep anyways.

Kevin Wainwright

Transportation/Acquisitions/Original Cast

Kevin has the ability to make almost anything appear when you most need it. Kevin and I have known each other for 20 years now and after he decided to join Matt and I in our 2nd year of insanity, it was all down hill from there. Kevin has the ability to drive anywhere, get anything, and the desire to tackle a large build himself every year, which helps take a load off everyone but also make the event a great success.

Artistic/Coordinator/Original Cast

The first woman that was able to put up with a rogue group of guys and tells us when we were wrong and most of the time have the more disgusting joke of the group. She helped to bring class to us, and with her artistic skills could paint anything to look either 20 - 200 years old or to make wood look like stone. Melissa is going to be extremely missed this year as she has decided to adventure to new beginnings, but hopefully soon enough she will venture back to help keep us all in line, and share a sense of humor we all are missing.

David Chappell

Electronics/Original Cast

I don't think my brother knew what to think of Matt and I when we first started but after he realized what stupid fun we were having he started to join in. From that day on, he has been hooked, and with his understanding of computers and electronics he makes the great compliment to my brain which half the time doesn't want to think in a technical manner.

Supply/Operation

I don't think Julia fully understood what she was getting herself into last year when she followed Matt to the house to help setup for Halloween. The first day she arrived she proved herself to be an extremely valuable member of the team. Julia provides us with fresh set of eyes and brain, and shares the same artistic vision that we all share which helps her to follow where we are going and understand us.

Garrett Mills

Long Time Cast/Assistant

Garrett has a sometimes scary love for a chainsaw! With a training in technical theatre, and a passion to perform. Garrett has been a strong and valuable member of the team for the last 4 years and will hopefully be here scaring people for years to come (or until the chainsaw gets to hard to use while pushing a walker)

Production Assistant

Amanda got pulled into Halloween because she was living at the house when the MEGA Haunt started, but becuase it has become so infectious, she is now hooked like the rest of us. If she is not being the Witch, she is helping to guide children safely through without too much fear.
